Terms & Conditions

1. Unless specified otherwise in writing, all transactions between CWS and its customers are determined by the Terms of Use described here and accepted by the customer (even if these terms differ from the purchase terms of the customer). These general terms and conditions are available in the English language only.

2. The information about products, pricing, and delivery dates, as well as the detailed shipping guidelines on the website are communicated to the customers for information purposes only and may be modified by CWS without prior notice. For more information, customers should visit the "Orders & Shipping" page.

3. CWS delivers world-wide. To the extent possible, goods will be delivered on the date indicated in the order confirmation. CWS will not pay any damages or fines for late deliveries.

Accuracy of Content

CWS endeavours its best efforts to keep the information on the site updated. However, the information and other material published on this site may include inaccuracies or typographical errors. We make reasonable efforts to ensure product information is accurate and that images are as accurate as possible.

Changes are periodically made to the information on the Site without notice. CWS reserves the right to change the Site at any time, at its discretion. CWS does not warrant that the functions contained in the site or any product or content contained therein will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available is free of viruses or other harmful components.


The price of the products you order is the price that is displayed on the site at the time you confirm your order. If an error is found in the price of the products you have ordered or in the delivery charge, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order. If you cancel before packing and shipping, we will refund or re-credit you for the sum that has been debited from your credit card for the products.

Sale Agreement

No sale agreement will exist between you and CWS until we pack and/or ship all products. CWS reserves the right to refuse an order, wholly or partially, in the following cases:

  • If the product is not available;
  • If your billing information is not correct or not verifiable;
  • If your order is flagged by the security systems as an unusual order or an order suspected of fraud;
  • If your bank transfer payment/reservation is not received in a timely manner;
  • If we have reason to believe you are under 18;
  • If we have reason to believe you are a reseller;
  • If there was an error in the price quote;
  • If we could not deliver to the address provided by you;
  • If for any reason a chocolate item you have ordered is out of stock;
  • If the specific climatic conditions are deemed inadequate and might impair the quality and presentation of the product;
  • In the event of force majeure.


Orders are delivered as soon as possible and the seller shall attempt delivery within 3 working days (or such other number of working days as indicated on the website for sales to particular countries). Unless agreed upon otherwise, the maximum delivery time is fourteen (14) days from the order.

For all orders for goods that are temporarily out of stock, the seller will contact the customer and inform them of the estimated time until the goods will be on stock again. The seller shall use its reasonable endeavours to contact the customer within three (3) working days by telephone or e-mail to warn him of any delays.

In case of force majeure, the seller can postpone the execution of the customer order or to terminate the contract without judicial intervention, by notifying the customer in writing.

Delivery will be made to the address notified by the customer to the seller in his order. The customer or any other person is required to be present at delivery of goods at the address indicated by the customer. CWS delivers during business hours, please avoid to use an address where you know the recipient will be absent most of the day. The seller is not responsible for failed deliveries when (a) the customer provides an incorrect or outdated address and the customer does not promptly (but within 24 hours after having made the order) provide a corrected or new delivery address, or (b) no one is at home at the address of delivery indicated by the customer.

If the transportation company is forced to return an order to the seller for any of the above reasons, the seller will be free to rescind the contract with immediate effect and without any judicial intervention or to suspend any (future) delivery and without refund.

In any event, the customer will be charged for the shipping and handling as well as 20 Euro for the return and cancellation fee, in addition to any damages that the seller could claim. The seller will however resend the goods to a new address at the customer's request, if the customer agrees to pay the shipping and handling charge a second time and if he provided a corrected/new delivery address within 24 hours after the goods were returned.

To assure the freshness of the product to be delivered, sometimes the delivery may take up to 10 days from the date in which the customer placed the order. In the unlikely event of a delayed delivery from the supplier, the customer will be promptly informed.

Customs & duties guidelines

Given that CWS is an intermediary, it limits the warranties on all goodFor all our shipments it is highly unlikely, but possible that customs forbid the goods or want to physically inspect the parcel. CWS cannot be held responsible for this unfortunate event.

Responsability Limitation

Given that CWS is an intermediary, it limits the warranties on all goods to the warranties offered by its suppliers. To the extent allowed under these sales conditions, CWS’s liability is limited to refunding the customer for (or replacing) the damaged products and will not pay any damages to the customer. Even when a CWS supplier does not live up to its own warranties, for instance in case of bankruptcy, we are not responsible to the customer.

Privacy & Security

By ordering on the internet site of CWS, the customer agrees that CWS processes his personal data for purposes such as the administration of the client database, processing the orders, deliveries and invoices, credit checks, marketing and advertising. Data processing for marketing and advertising purposes will only occur if the client has given his explicit approval during the order process. CWS will not transfer the personal data to any third. The client has the right to access his personal data and to arrange for modifications to be made, where errors exist. The client may oppose at any time and at no cost, the further processing of his personal data for direct marketing purposes by merely sending a written notice to the e-mail address mentioned above.

Privacy Policy

The personal data you submitted to us, will be processed in the databases owned by CWS. The only use of the dataprocessing is to execute the order you transmitted, and for direct marketing purposes by CWS . We will not sell or disclose any individual addresses or personal information to any other party. You have the right to access and your data and modify them in case of errors. Cookies are only stored on your hard disk to facilitate certain shopping experiences.

When you have been sent to us by an affiliate, we will store a cookie to allow accurate tracking. Our site recognizes visitors' home servers, but not their e-mail addresses. We only store individual e-mail addresses provided by customers voluntarily or during the order process.


This website has been developed to support e-commerce security protocols. All information that you provide during the shopping process is encrypted for your protection. We use a 128-bit encryption to transfer your personal data into our databases. All database information is stored in a secured environment.


CWS is not responsible for material, physical or other damages or losses that a customer or any third party could suffer from the consumption or use of the goods. CWS recommend that people with allergies, diabetes, or any other health problem always read and follow the instructions on the labelling.

If any of the above conditions should be annulled, all other conditions will remain valid to the fullest extent permitted by the law. All parties agree to accept electronic evidence (e.g. e-mails, back-ups,...) as binding evidence in case of disputes. All disputes regarding the interpretation, validity or execution of the contract are governed by Portuguese law and fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lisbon, Portugal.
